Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

Protect confidential information shared before, during, or after a security engagement.

What It Is

A Non-Disclosure Agreement protects confidential information shared between you and a client — scope details, credentials, findings, and internal architecture, among other things. This generator produces a mutual NDA, meaning both parties owe each other confidentiality, which is the norm for pentest engagements: the client shares sensitive access details with you, and you share preliminary findings with them, often before a formal report exists.

Why It Matters

Most clients expect an NDA signed before they'll even discuss a target in detail — it's often the first document exchanged in an engagement. It protects you too: it makes clear that vulnerabilities you discover are shared responsibly with the client, not disclosed publicly or exploited elsewhere, which matters if a dispute ever arises about what you were and weren't allowed to do with what you found.
